How It Works
Decision Assist - Financial Performance is built on a DB2-based data mart designed specifically by NGS to include the data most commonly used in financial analysis and reports. You can use the NGS business intelligence application development tools and your own programs to copy data from your G/L files into this data mart. You simply run those jobs when you want to update the data mart. Next, you click on the "update" hyperlink provided on the Decision Assist - Financial Performance Web portal; all of the financial performance dashboards, OLAP models, spreadsheets, and reports update to reflect your new data.
