Supporting Mobile Workers with Tablets, SmartPhones, and Email Alerts

Today's workforce wants to be able to receive their data and interact with it on smartphones and tablet computers as well as on their laptops. They also expect to receive timely email alerts about critical business conditions and to be able to access information anywhere, anytime. This demonstration shows how you can use the WebRunner function of IQ Server to give these mobile users on demand access to graphical Web reports from Android, Apple, and other devices. The presentation also includes a segment on using the Windows 7 Task Scheduler to run queries with Qport Access and WebRunner. Lastly, there is a demonstration of the new email distribution list function included in release 7.1 of NGS-IQ. Approximately 75 minutes.
