Sacramento, California... September 5, 2003... New Generation Software, Inc. (NGS) recently announced a new release of its Accounts Payable, an integrated, yet modular application of its Concert Series Financial Management System. This new release of A/P is scheduled for shipment this fall.
The existing powerful functionality contained in Concert Series Accounts Payable is still present, but line item entry on invoices is now fully supported.
Additional enhancements include improved use of product codes, automatic support of wire transfers, allowance for line item adjustments, support of partial and full invoice payments, and tracking of physical location addresses.
First introduced by NGS in 1972, the Concert Series is a suite of integrated, yet modular applications for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. A stand-alone module for Human Resources is also available. Concert Series handles Not-For-Profit accounting and multiple currency requirements and provides comprehensive management reporting and financial analysis. Each application is designed for modular deployment and quickly interfaces to business management or ERP applications. Concert Series offers comprehensive tracking of multiple companies, divisions, and cost centers; drill-down inquiry; an unlimited number of vendors/customers; and tracking of cash disbursements and receipts. A separate module, ConcertPro, downloads financial data from the Concert Series G/L to Excel and upload financial data from Excel to the G/L.
