Query Definition Tables are a valuable source of technical documentation for your NGS-IQ queries. Query Definition Tables can be generated from IQ Server and IQ Client to show you the files, fields, sorts, selections, new fields, summaries, and other characteristics used in the design of the query. If you use the IQ SeQure security management system at release 7.1 of NGS-IQ, you can also copy/paste information from a Query Definition Template into the extended description of a query to help make the query easier to locate when conducting inventory searches.
